What We Treat

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a system of healthcare that can treat many conditions and can be used to improve the overall quality of your life and well-being. Examples of the some of the things we can help with are listed below.

Our Mission

Berkeley Acupuncture Project of California is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide and promote public access to affordable acupuncture. We remove financial, and educational barriers to patient access to acupuncture as a form of health care, as well as provide continuing education to acupuncture professionals and students, all while providing a living wage for our employees.

BAP is part of a growing movement of community acupuncture clinics striving to remove barriers to receiving acupuncture.  POCA (People's Organization of Community Acupuncture) is community of like-minded acupuncturists, patients, students, and clinics dedicated to the advocacy and promotion of affordable community acupuncture for all. Through community building, micro-lending to clinics opening in underserved areas, the creation of an affordable community acupuncture school --and more-- POCA brings acupuncture to the people!
