2. Rules and Systems
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your first visit appointment time
We rely on our patients showing up with enough time to be oriented to our clinic. When patients are late, it makes us late for other patients. Our receptionists will walk you through our payment and scheduling system. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. When you come back as a return patient, give yourself time to park, use the restroom, and settle into your chair by the time of your scheduled appointment. If you are seated 10 or more minutes past your appointment time, we will see you as a drop-in. This means we may not be able to see you right away but will get to you as quickly as we can (usually within 15 - 25 minutes.)
We strive to be fragrance free
Please don't use ANY scented products (perfume, essential oils, scented laundry detergent, etc.) prior to your visit. Many of our patients and staff have chemical sensitivities that can trigger reactions when exposed.
Keep your belongings with you at all times. When seated, you can place them in the provided baskets and tuck it behind your chair. Keep your shoes on when walking through the clinic. Never remove your own needles.
Please completely silence your phone and use a whisper or quiet voice at all times. We do have hearing impaired patients and occasionally you may hear acupuncturists or other patients speaking in a louder voice. Please be patient! Use earplugs or headphones/earbuds if you think the sounds of others (sometimes snoring) will bother you.
Respect the privacy of others - don't hover over someone as they prepare to leave their chair. Never approach the acupuncturist work station in the center of the room or go behind the receptionist's desk.
