Our Mission
Berkeley Acupuncture Project of California is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide and promote public access to affordable acupuncture. We remove financial, and educational barriers to patient access to acupuncture as a form of health care, as well as provide continuing education to acupuncture professionals and students, all while providing a living wage for our employees.

POCA (People's Organization of Community Acupuncture) is community of like-minded acupuncturists, patients, students, and clinics dedicated to the advocacy and promotion of affordable community acupuncture for all. Through community building, micro-lending to clinics opening in underserved areas, the creation of an affordable community acupuncture school --and more-- POCA brings acupuncture to the people!
